Central Texas safety seeing attention rise

AggieYell.com The state of Texas is down at a few positions in the class of 2011, but others are as deep as ever. The running back class is the best in recent memory, but new names at defensive back seem to pop every day.
One of the newer names to be emerge is Pflugerville safety Alex Matlock. The 6-foot-1 ½, 190-pound Central Texas prospect is beginning to see quite a bit of interest after helping the Panthers make a surprising playoff run and being named a first-team all-district selection.
