A role model in Immokalee
Aaron Henry's contagious personality was obvious since he stepped foot on Wisconsin's campus during the summer of 2007.
The Badgers, led by current Northern Illinois head coach Dave Doeren, won a close recruiting battle for the rights to the Immokalee, Fla., standout.
Since then, Henry has gone through his fair share of ups and downs during his time in Madison, having seen a good deal of success as a true freshman to suffering a serious knee injury that forced a redshirt season. During his final year, however, the starting free safety was one of four elected team captains and has been a vocal leader on an off the field for a team still fighting for a chance at a Big Ten title.
More than five years removed from the recruiting process, Henry is now a role model for a handful of Immokalee football players who are starting to hear from college coaches.
