Weakside defensive end/outside linebacker prospect Jamal Marcus of Hillside High School in Durham, North Carolina took his third visit to East Carolina the weekend of January 14-15. PirateIllustrated caught up to him for a short phone interview after the visit.

He has found ECU to be a "great school. "I'm impressed with the coaching staff, campus, and the weight facilities. The weight room is better than many I've seen."

It is now coming down to crunch time and potential college football stars like Marcus are making their last visits and consulting family and friends on their choices. Marcus has said that he has cut down his list dramatically.
