Turning point:
For the first half of the first half, neither team seemed to be able to stop the other from scoring. Nine minutes in, Vanderbilt clung to a 22-21 lead after the Rebels' DeMarco Cox hit a dunk.

From that point on, VU owned the night in a big way. At 10:55, John Jenkins hit a 3 to start. After that, Vandy had just four missed shots from the field and two turnovers the rest of the half. Jenkins hit two 3s, and Jeffery Taylor, Dai-Jon Parker and Rod Odom each hit one.
