Sleeper shines in opener
Sleeper wide receiver prospect Titus Young (5-11, 160, 4.6) from Los Angeles (Calif.) University had a great opening game and if he keeps this up he will see his stock climb.
In a losing cause Young did every thing he could to help his team win. He caught eight passes for 150 yards and returned a punt 50 yards for a touchdown with only 13 seconds left in the first half drawing University within one touchdown to make the score 14-6.
Young was also a standout on defense racking up 12 tackles from his safety spot, including five "kill" shots over the middle. He also had an interception that he brought back 35 yards.
In total, Young had 300 all-purpose yards on the night.
One school in particular is really beginning show a lot of interest in Young.
"My friend Jason Robinson, who is a redshirt at Boise State called and told me that Boise State coached him that I could end up playing corner or receiver for them," Young said. "Jason told me that they are going to call me."
