Hogs win exhibition in blowout fashion

HawgSports.com As expected, NAIA squad Xavier-New Orleans was outmatched during Arkansas' Tuesday night 82-49 win in the first exhibition game of the 2006/2007 basketball season.
The Razorbacks started Steven Hill at center, Charles Thomas at power forward, Sonny Weems at small forward, [db]Patrick Beverley[/db] at shooting guard and Gary Ervin at point guard. There were many questions regarding which players would start, but all 11 who played saw double-digit minutes of action, nine saw over 15 minutes and nobody played more than 24 minutes. Arkansas coach Stan Heath wanted to use this game as an opportunity to mix up the lineups as much as possible.
