Sweezy sticking with his NC State commitment

TheWolfpacker.com It would be hard to find many more defensive players in the country who were more productive than J.R. Sweezy was for Mooresville High in 2006. He totaled a whopping 181 tackles as a senior while playing linebacker.
"I almost had 200," Sweezy said. "I wish I could have had more tackles, but overall I think I did pretty good."
Sweezy committed to NC State before the season began, and despite the recent announcement of Chuck Amato's firing he is holding firm in his commitment.
"It was kind of surprising," Sweezy said. "At the ECU game they were talking about it [on television], and then there was a lot of talk about it the next day.
"I'm still committed though."
