OStateIllustrated.com The toughest week in the non-conference part of the schedule for Oklahoma State just got a lot tougher.
Zooming out to an 11-0 record but doing so with a small rotation of players, the No. 15 Cowboys will now have to figure out how to survive the next two games - and the rest of the season - without freshman wonder Obi Muonelo. The Edmond Santa Fe product broke his ankle in the Gallagher-Iba Arena practice gym after slipping on a wet spot on the floor. The third-leading scorer for the Pokes is expected to miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on Sunday.
This news busts up what had been a quiet period for the Poke hoopsters, who were taking finals all of last week. And now the team goes to Nashville to take on a quality opponent in the Tennessee Volunteers at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. The game will tip off at 6 p.m. and will be televised nationally via ESPN2.
