Pullman Practice Report - Day Seven
Three players looking to break out this season started the process early.
In the first spring scrimmage on Friday, wide receiver Charles Dillon and running backs Chris Ivory and Marcus Richmond enjoyed success in the scrimmage with more than 50 Cougar fans in attendance.
Dillon hauled in six passes in the game for 82 yards, including a leaping 30-yard grab over safety Christian Bass for a touchdown.
However, Bass was able to get his revenge later on in the scrimmage. Bass picked up a Dillon fumble and returned it 75 yards before being tackled by quarterback Gary Rogers.
With Dwight Tardy only receiving four carries in the scrimmage, the majority of the touches were granted to Richmond and Ivory and the two second-year runners took full advantage.
