Joe Cowan back in form

BruinSportsReport.com UCLA had big plans in store for their true senior wide receiver going into the season of 2006 when Joe Cowan's season ended in training camp with a knee injury. Ever the competitor, Cowan got back in time to help the team as a scout player. Incidentally his scout team performance coincided with the Bruin winning streak to close the regular season.
BruinBlitz.com was able to get a few words with Cowan during camp to discuss how he was doing.
BruinBlitz.com: Joe last year you were coming in as the team's leading returning receiver and were having a good camp and then you suffered a season ending injury. How does it feel to be back?
Cowan: "It's exciting. It's fun to be out here playing.
BruinBlitz.com: What are your goals for the coming season?
Cowan: "Well we want to win the championship. We definitely want to take the conference.
