Avery Patterson was one of three recruits already committed to the Oregon Ducks who made the trek to Eugene for his official visit during the weekend of the Ducks' game against UCLA. Duck Sports Authority caught up with him after his visit to see how it went.

"The trip went real good," Patterson told us. "It was everything I expected it to be. On a scale of 1-10 it was a 9.5."

"My host was Dewitt Stuckey," Avery continued. "He was real nice and showed me around and introduced me to some of the players. I got there Saturday a little past noon. I went there myself. I got back about 8:00 Sunday."
