Will King smash heads in Athens?
The University of Georgia has had a lot of success when turning walk-on fullbacks into big contributors. Guys like J.T. Wall and Jeremy Thomas are two that stand out to many, so will Tyler King follow in their footsteps? He was recruited by UGA a year ago and he is now at Hargrave Military Academy, so could King be in Athens next summer?
"Up at Hargrave, most of the colleges talk to Coach [Robert] Prunty and he really doesn't tell us who is recruiting us until after the season," said King. "Coach Prunty just tells me people are calling and he keeps telling me to do my thing out there."
King doing his think may be a little different than others doing theirs. He is just a physical player that loves contact and he may play a little too physical at times.
"I have broken three or four facemasks (click HERE to see one he broke while we were there in September) in practices and I broke my nose earlier this year too. It usually happens during our one on one drills when we are hitting and stuff. I just go out there and hit and play hard. I broke my nose in three places."
