Lawrence Russell Brewer was also put to death, but the media overlooked that. The media went crazy when James Byrd was murdered...blaming Texas collectivly. Now that Texas has exicuted one of Byrd's murderers, they concentrate intead on another case. John William King is currently awaiting his turn for the Byrd killing. Texas gave the death penaly for the Byrd murder !!! What more does the media expect ?
