In what ways do your disagree ? I'm not saying that I disagree with the founding fathers, just that the Confederate leaders were in fact, no different. So if one trashes Jefferson Davis, one must also trash Jefferson. Defame Lee, then one must also defame Washington. There is a double standard in some circles in which the founding fathers were "heroes" to leave the union, but their grandsons were "villains" for leaving Lincoln's union in 1861. If one considers Lincoln the hero for preserving the union, then one must be consistent with George III for preserving his union. As for the slavery thing, I think I previously covered that one.
