Ogundeko holds an SU offer

Brooklyn (N.Y.) Thomas Jefferson defensive end Ebenezer Ogundeko holds a few offers right now and one of them came from Syracuse.

"Syracuse offered me a scholarship and then they told me that they want me to visit the school on April, 21. I was really happy, it is an in-state school and I was just really happy. I am very interested in Syracuse."

There are a few items that Ogundeko likes about the Orange already.

"I know some people that go there and that they have some talent there. I also know that they will coach me well."

When the 6-foot-4, 235 pound Empire State product visits the Orange there will be one thing that he will be looking for.

"I am going to be looking for a family. I am really looking for a family type of environment."

Other than Syracuse there are a few other programs looking at him and some visits upcoming.

"Alabama State, offered, Boise State is about to offer, and hopefully when I go to Connecticut this week they offer. I already have other offers from Arizona State, Boston College and North Carolina A&T.

"I am going to visit Boston College on Thursday and Connecticut Saturday. I plan to go to Arizona State later on and Syracuse on the 21st. Other than that I am not really sure."

On the field Ogundeko played well in his last season.

"I love rushing the quarterback, but I can also stop the run. I had 11 sacks and 79 tackles."

A decision from the defensive end is not expected to come anytime soon.

"I do not have a time frame for a decision."
