Are is the first of many for a huge OL class


When the dust settles after the Jan. 6 BCS National Championship game, Florida State will have set several new offensive records. Those new marks will include new single-season highs for both total yards and the most points scored in school history.

It's no coincidence that the Seminoles' offensive success coincides with having a highly regarded veteran offensive line. This line, which is composed of four juniors and one senior, has provided the necessary protection to give quarterback Jameis Winston time to find his dynamic receivers while also opening up holes for a prolific ground attack. Three starters from that group, and four key backups, all signed with Florida State in 2011. The ability to sign several quality offensive line recruits three years ago has had a profound impact on FSU's current success.
