Robertson follows his heart to Rocky Top

Just over a week ago Nashville two-way lineman Jashon Robertson had no second thoughts on his nearly year-and-a-half old commitment to Vanderbilt.

But in Robertson's heart, there was always some orange.

"My first college football game was when I went to Tennessee to see them play Georgia when A.J. Green was playing. I walked away from Tennessee stunned at how great of a place it was," Robertson said.

After James Franklin departed the Music City for Penn State, Robertson decided to open up his commitment to the 'Dores.

That's when Robertson made a visit to see close friend and Tennessee early enrollee Jalen Hurd in Knoxville and while he couldn't talk to Tennessee coaches he could sense that was where he was supposed to be.

"When I went up there and visited them I just enjoyed the vibes and the electricity up there," Robertson offered. The Hurd's are family to me and it's a family at Tennessee."

On Wednesday, Robertson decided to become a part of the Vol family.
