Implement Henderson

Ole Miss will have the services of senior guard Marshall Henderson for the first time this season. Henderson, the SEC's leading scorer a year ago, was suspended from Ole Miss' opener against Troy. He'll miss the Rebels' first two league games in January as well. With Henderson out, Jarvis Summers was more aggressive shooting the basketball and played some off-guard when Derrick Millinghaus played the point. It's critical for Ole Miss that Summers and others continue to look for shots even when Henderson is getting his.
Finishing at rim

Ole Miss shot just 34.7 percent from the floor against Troy, in large part because Aaron Jones, Demarco Cox and others struggled to hit shots close to the goal. Jones looked very healthy in his first game back from an ACL injury suffered last February, but Ole Miss needs him to be a more efficient scorer.
Score from the wings

In the Rebels' opener, Ladarius White and Anthony Perez struggled to make shots or create offense. They should be helped by Henderson's return, but both players have to get started offensively for Ole Miss to return to NCAA tournament form this season. The duo combined for just five points against Troy.

Head coach Andy Kennedy on Marshall Henderson's return to active roster:

"I hope that him being a senior and him having gone through the experience that he did last year, he'll be much more equipped to handle all the things that will be thrown at him Saturday night."
Forward Aaron Jones on his focus on improving his offensive game:

"I can get trash buckets when I can, shoot the open J when I can. When I'm up close, I have to knock it in."

Ole Miss 77-65
