Control Brown and Clarkson

Brown and Clarkson are combining to score 38.8 points per game, the No. 2 scoring duo in the SEC behind Auburn's Chris Denson and K.T. Harrell. The duo almost did enough by themselves to beat Kentucky a week ago in Columbia, Mo. Florida held them to 29 points Tuesday night in Gainesville, Fla. If Ole Miss can make someone else beat them, the Rebels have a solid chance of landing a critical resume-enhancing win.
Keep Tigers off stripe

Missouri is 14-1 when the Tigers shoot more free throws than their opponent and 15-3 when they make more free throws than their opponent. Brown, Clarkson and Ross love to drive to the basket and draw fouls, and Missouri is one of the SEC's better teams at the free throw line. Missouri loves to use the charity stripe to add to its point total. Speaking of, Missouri is 11-3 when it scores 70 points or more.
Find a third scorer

It sounds like a broken record 22 games into the season, but Ole Miss needs someone other than Henderson and Summers to step up and draw the defense to him. Kentucky extended itself to the 3-point line and harassed Henderson all night Tuesday at Rupp Arena. With Summers in foul trouble, the Rebels needed someone else to take the scoring responsibility on his shoulders. Look for Missouri to try a similar strategy. Whether it's Jones, Perez or LaDarius White, Ole Miss needs an unsung hero of sorts to emerge on Saturday.

Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy on Saturday's game serving as an opportunity to improve its postseason standing:

"That's why you're in the SEC. That's why you play big-boy basketball - to have these opportunities. We're 4-0 at home in league play and we've got to continue that trend if we have any hopes of playing meaningful basketball in the postseason."
Missouri guard Jordan Clarkson on handling Marshall Henderson's emotional style of play:

"You have to try not to get caught up in the emotion, make sure you stay calm and composed. You know he's going to talk and do stuff to get the crowd ignited and just really play hard. You've just got to stay focused on what you're there to do."

Ole Miss 73-72
