Ole Miss hosted several official visitors over the weekend. With the commitment of Noah Jefferson on Monday night, they've added three commitments from that group in the last 24 hours.

Jefferson chose Ole Miss over other offers from Arkansas, Louisville, and Florida among several others.

He becomes the 18th commitment for Ole Miss, who rank No. 32 nationally following the news of his commitment.

Jefferson caught up with RebelGrove shortly after wrapping up his official visit.

The rainy and foggy weather had the exact opposite impact that you would expect, at least on Noah Jefferson.

"I really wasn't expecting all the rain and fog, but to be honest I was kind of happy with it," Jefferson said about the visit.

"Growing up in Cincinnati, and being on the West Coast for so long, I haven't seen weather like this in a bit. It felt like home.

Jefferson was amazed by the ties that Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke has to the program.

"Coach Matt Luke played center here back in the day, his brother played here, his brother's son played here, and the mom and the aunts and uncles went here too," he said.

"That really made me feel secure at Ole Miss. Coach (Freddie) Roach and (Wesley) McGriff were my two main recruiters.

Jefferson's attention now switches to his JUCO teammate, Dorian Gerald.

"All JUCO players know each other," Jefferson said about his relationship with Gerald.

"It would be really nice to play with him."

Jefferson will have two years to play two at Ole Miss.
