Practice Observations: Rebels 10 days from opener against FSU

Ole Miss practiced for 20 periods (approximately one hour and forty minutes) on Friday afternoon inside the Manning Center. The practice was a textbook end-of-camp, not-quite-game-week practice. I didn’t sense the sharpest of focus, but truth be told, that fact is completely understandable. They’ve reached the point where they have to be sick of only competing against each other rather than someone else.
Hugh Freeze spoke to the media before the beginning of practice. You can read his thoughts, but before I discuss thoughts from the actual practice periods that were open to media, I wanted to mention a couple of inferences that occurred to me.
Beyond the typical injury and personnel notes, the two biggest notes in this multimedia producer's opinion concerned Freeze's response to the question concerning the reasoning for his defense's ineffectiveness and his body language when posed the question concerning Pat Forde's story from Thursday morning.
