After a washed-out Friday, Ole Miss and Mississippi State begin their three-game set with a Saturday doubleheader in Starkville. First pitch is 12 p.m. with the second game starting 45 minutes after the first one is complete.

Sunday's finale is at 1 p.m.

Ole Miss is flipping the first two spots in its rotation with Brady Feigl throwing the opener and Ryan Rolison starting game two for the Rebels. Meanwhile, MSU has a clearly defined first-day starter in Konnor Pilkington.

The 6-foot-3 junior left-hander has a 2.61 ERA in 41.1 innings with 54 strikeouts and only seven walks while opponents are hitting .244 against him. At one point this season Pilkington led the country in K/BB with 35 strikeouts and one free pass.

The Hurley, Mississippi, native is 1-4, but that's mostly because of meager run support. The Bulldogs have only scored 13 runs combined in Pilkington's seven starts and more than three runs just once. In the three SEC starts, the Bulldogs scored one run twice and were shutout once.

Pilkington is coming off his worst start of the season, when he gave up five runs ons ix hits in 6.2 innings against LSU.
