Recruiting in the state of Alabama is something that most schools don't bother doing when it comes to the blue-chip talent. Those recruits typically end up in one of three places: Alabama, Auburn, or Junior College.

Ole Miss is not afraid to step in the state when it comes to recruiting, and 3-star Madison County (Ala.) OLB Matthew Flint could be the latest to play in the SEC for a school not named Alabama or Auburn.

RebelGrove was able to catch up with Flint shortly after he left Oxford, and he said something several other recruits said as well about being in Oxford:

"They most definitely weren't lying when they said if you don't want to go to Ole Miss don't take a visit."

Flint talked specifically about the environment around Oxford and meeting Coach McGriff as things that stood out about the visit.

"We got the chance to sit down and talk about where I fit into the system, they see me as a hybrid player, kind of like what Jabrill Peppers did while at Michigan. I feel like I would fit that perfectly, and it would be a terrific chance to show off my versatility in the greatest conference in all of football," he said about his meeting with DC Wesley McGriff and LB Coach Bradley Peveto.

Flint is already thinking about his next time in Oxford.

"I am definitely going to be back, might not be until the season starts, but I will definitely be back in Oxford soon. I have always liked Ole Miss, the love they show is real. They are open to me playing anywhere on the field which is an offer that is hard to decline.

Auburn is among the other early offers for Flint.
