Dealing with adversity and the loss of life is something that one Ole Miss Fraternity is way to familiar with.

The ATO Fraternity suffered a devastating loss of life when a fire burned their home in August 2004 taking the lives of three of their brothers.
This week the Men of Ole Miss ATO Fraternity will host a campus wide fund raiser for another worthy cause, taking all the money raised from this weekends events to donate to the Robert Langley family, the UPD officer that was killed in the line of duty last September.
"We remember what kind of support we received from everyone on campus when our Fraternity House burned and the loss we suffered," said J.C. Fleming. "We wanted to give something back to what we feel is a very worthy cause. We are one big family here at Ole Miss and when one is hurting we are all suffering."
This weekends events will begin Thursday afternoon with a Fraternity and Sorority campus wide Tennis Tournament. All preliminary matches will take place at the intramural courts and are free to attend. The Finals matches will be Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. A silent auction featuring such items as autographed footballs from Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister will be available for bids. Saturday's finals will be at the NCAA Ole Miss Tennis Courts on Fraternity Row. Admission to the finals will be $5.00 per person. All donations will be accepted.
Thursday night there will also be a BBQ dinner and Lunch Auction to be held at the ATO House. A 5.00 charge per person will be taken at the door. 18 lunch dates will be auctioned off with nine ATO men and nine ATO sisters. All funds raised during this weekend event will be given to Robert Langley's widow at a ceremony at the Saturday finals.
"This is always a big Greek weekend on campus," Fleming said. "We wanted it to mean something and to do something special for Officer Langley's family. We expect a big crowd for all of the events."
ATO will also take on Sigma NU in the annual Charity Bowl Football game this Friday night at Vaught Hemingway Stadium. This is a full pads and full contact football game, which is expected to draw a big crowd.
