Boston area QB eyeing Ole Miss
Despite having one quarterback committed and being in pursuit of raising prospect Drew Allen, several signal callers from around the country remain interested in Ole Miss.
Three-star Will Gilchrist from Savannah, Tenn. is planning to audition for Ole Miss coaches at the Rebel senior camp on July 26 and another prospect could also be at the camp.

Charley Loeb, a 6-foot-4, 210 pound left-handed pro-style quarterback from Groton, Mass. said on Monday that he may also make the trip to Oxford.
"I've received some information about the camp and I will definitely have to talk to my parents about the camp from an expense standpoint," Loeb said on Monday evening. "I would love to go to the camp and determine their level of interest and see if they would offer."
While Loeb is currently residing in Massachusetts attending Lawrence Academy, an elite preparatory school, he is no stranger to the south. He is originally from Memphis and his father still resides there and he visits the Bluff City often during holidays and sometimes spends a month each summer there.
Loeb currently hasn't received an offer but is receiving interest from Ole Miss, Boston College, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Virginia.
Loeb may be off the radar when it comes to offers; however, he's been slowing attracting attention at various camps across the country this summer.
In April, Rivals.com recruiting analyst Barry Every said Loeb has "definite Division I potential" and had one of the strongest arms at the Fort Worth Elite Camp."
Every also evaluated Loeb again at last weekend's Top Gun camp in Orlando.
"This kid has really come a long way since he was evaluated earlier this year," Every wrote. "Loeb is more accurate than earlier this year and has turned himself into a legit D-I prospect. (He) has tremendous velocity on his short and mid range passes and had a very tight spin on his passes."
It's an assessment that Loeb agrees with.
"For my size, I think I have good feet and one of my strongest assets is my arm strength," he said. "I also think I make good decisions; I only had five or six interceptions last season against around 20 touchdowns passes, and that was in just eight games."
He ran a 4.6 forty yard dash earlier this year at a Boston College camp, but stressed that running "isn't necessarily the focal point of my game."
Loeb said that he'd be very interested and excited if Ole Miss comes on strong in the recruiting process, but for now, he's pretty much open to any school that begins recruiting him hard or offers.
"I just want to see what opportunities are out there," he said.
While opportunities have been slow coming from Division I schools, Loeb could have his choice of Ivy League schools according to his father. Loeb's father said he scored over 2,000 on his SAT.
Loeb said that he had received some calls earlier from Ole Miss and other schools and has received a lot of mail and that Ole Miss coaches have recently been in touch with his parents.
"I've never been to the Ole Miss campus," Loeb said. "I've heard a lot of good things about Ole Miss and I'd really be excited if I got the chance to make the trip there."
Ole Miss' final camp of the summer is scheduled for July 26 with registration beginning at 8 a.m. The camp is by invitation only.
