Brandon Jackson switches

After finding himself in limbo for the past two weeks linebacker Brandon Jackson has decided to withdraw his commitment to Ole Miss.
Jackson opted to switch his commitment to Bowling Green. It had been a decision he was weighing following an official visit to the school two weeks ago.

"We started talking and I told them I had been thinking on it and that is just the perfect place for me," Jackson said.
Jackson said the split between he and Ole Miss was amicable as he wanted to place more weight on academics. Bowling Green offers an aviation program that Jackson fell in love with on his official visit. Ole Miss has no such aviation program.
The staff from Bowling Green called Jackson this week and he informed them of his decision to switch his commitment to Bowling Green. He also informed his former coach at Briarcrest and current Ole Miss staff member Hugh Freeze of his decision.
"I told Coach Freeze that I was no longer committed to Ole Miss," Jackson said. "He is my former coach and told me that he would love me no matter what and he said he was going to support my decision no matter what I do."
Jackson was Ole Miss' third commitment back in February.
