Crazy process ends with Custis at Ole Miss

Montrell Custis loved what he saw at Ole Miss during his official visit last month.
He just needed a little time to make sure of the decision that was forming in his head.

On Monday, the 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback from Lovejoy, Ga., felt certain enough to end his recruiting and commit to Ole Miss.
"My visit went great," Custis said. "Ole Miss felt like something new and different. It was a great atmosphere. I just felt comfortable."
Custis said after his visit to Ole Miss, he visited Florida. Ole Miss, however, stayed on his mind.
"I just wanted to make sure my head was in the right place," Custis said.
Custis, who originally committed to Kentucky before flipping to Alabama, said Ole Miss coaches have told him to "come in, work my butt off and I'll have every opportunity there."
Custis said he has no hard feelings towards Kentucky or Alabama.
"I'm not disappointed about anything," Custis said. "I moved on. It's been a long, crazy process and I'm blessed and lucky for it to end with me at Ole Miss."
