Ealy becomes the highest-rated of the four 2019 Ole Miss commitments.

It's been quite a 24 hours at the Manning Center for coach Matt Luke and the rest of the staff. Thursday night, four-star 2018 QB Matt Corral flipped from Florida to Ole Miss.

On Friday afternoon, it was Ealy's turn.

Jerrion Ealy made the call to coach (Derrick) Nix on Friday morning, and told him he was ready to be a Rebel. He chose Ole Miss over other offers from Michigan and Auburn, among several others.

Ealy caught up with RebelGrove shortly before announcing his decision.

"It feels great to be an Ole Miss Rebel," Ealy said about his commitment. "I called coach (Derrick) Nix this morning, and told him I didn't want to wait any longer, and that I was ready to commit to him, coach (Matt) Luke, and the rest of the staff."

Ealy, who is also a highly-touted baseball prospect, has a plan in place currently, but that could change as time goes on.

"I plan on playing both baseball and football up at Ole Miss. I committed to both Matt Luke and Mike Bianco."

The environment around Oxford is what appears to have set Ole Miss apart from Michigan and Auburn, among several others.

"The game-day atmosphere up there is unreal. I love it every time I go up there, there's nothing like it."

What's next for Ealy?

"I'm ready to turn this in-state class of 2019 for Ole Miss into a national championship."
