MEMPHIS | Whitehaven High School hosted the Memphis stop of the v7 Elite Camp tour, and by going off the list of top performers, it should be a good season for "The Haven" in 2018.

Recruits from Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Tennessee all competed in a variety of drills and workouts to continue to improve heading into spring football. The day finished up with a showcase of sorts, where 1on1's took place, both with skill players as well as OL/DL

Standouts

The Latest: Boddie is an explosive athlete, and his future is either as a slot receiver, or as a cornerback. Boddie's offer list has grown significantly in recent weeks, and with visits coming up to Michigan, Wake Forest, and Virginia, among others, that trend is likely to continue.

What sets Boddie apart from others is his ability to both accelerate and decelerate, as well as his ball skills. Boddie has the intangibles you simply can't teach.

The Latest: Campbell and Boddie (above) are former teammates, and will actually take the above visits together, other than Michigan While Boddie's recruitment has already started to "take off" it's been a bit of waiting game.

Campbell continues to improve every time I see him, and I won't be the least bit surprised if he finishes his trip with multiple offers in hand. He's a name to know, and won't be under the radar much longer.

The Latest: Yes, you read that right. Class of 2022. Carter has been working with QB coaches for quite some time now, and that shows when you watch him throw the ball.

Consistent footwork, good mechanics, and a good amount of zip on the ball are just three of many reasons that both South Carolina and Memphis have offered already.

The Latest: Conley is actually a former Whitehaven player, who is now at Fairley. Conley showed flashes time and time again in drills, and held his own in the 1v1's as well. His size is likely a holdup with some college coaches, but if they can get past that, Conley should have the chance to play D1 football.

Conley's recruitment is yet to breakthrough.

The Latest: French is 2020 recruit. Read that again. Some other sites might have him listed as a 2019 recruit, but he's only a sophomore, and a special one at that. French is all of 6-foot-3 250, and is as athletic as they come. French showed versatility, and could make a move to DE if he adds much more weight to his already impressive frame.

French has been waiting on an Ole Miss offer, but holds an offer from Memphis, and has interest from Florida State. He's been in Oxford several times with fellow 2020 Whitehaven LB Bryson Eason, and it's known that the two are thought to be a package deal.

The Latest: There's sure-handed offensive weapons, and then there's Cormontae Hamilton. Not a single ball within his catch radius touched the ground the entire day, much to the dismay of defenders. With his size and frame to go with the soft hands, it's no wonder Ohio State is among the schools keeping a close eye on him.

His offer list currently includes Virginia Tech, Chattanooga, and Southern Miss, with interest from a handful of other schools, including Ole Miss.

The Latest: Martin traveled from Hoover to Memphis on Sunday, and showed why he's considered one of the top 2020 DB's in Alabama, if not the country. Martin went step for step with several of the top players in the 901, and his technique keeps him with the receivers.

Jacksonville State's the only early offer on the table for Martin, but he's been on visits to Tennessee and Auburn in recent weeks.

The Latest: McBride was the top performer of the day on the offensive line on Sunday. While the rep shown below is dominant, there were other reps that I didn't get on video where he just simply destroyed the DL. His footwork has improved drastically since the end of the

Vick joked that he could have used McBride opposite Jason Peters in Philly.

McBride's offer list is just beginning to grow, with Lousiville and South Carolina being among the group of early Power 5 schools to pull the trigger. When they see him in the spring, that list will multiply exponentially.

The Latest: To see McCou from DeSoto Central matching up with the talent on the field on Sunday, I was rather embarrassed that he had not had a Rivals profile, and that I had not seen his tape. McCou has the body of a guard at the P5 level, and his get-off was better than expected.

McCou's got interest from Arkansas State, Southern Miss, Vanderbilt, and Tulsa, but no offers yet.

The Latest: Morris is just a sophomore currently, and was rated as a member of the preliminary Rivals100 for the class of 2020. He's a potential program-changing offensive tackle in his class, and he showed why on Sunday. It's going to be interesting to see how he decides to add weight to his frame.

Morris has offers already from all over the country, including Ole Miss, LSU, Florida State, Florida, and Oregon among others.

The Latest: Mullins' recruitment has been a hot topic on this here website. Some schools see Mullins as a weapon offensively, and some think he'd be better on the defensive side of the ball. Mullins will either play safety or wide receiver at the next level, if you were to ask me based on Sunday's performance. Mullins is explosive enough to play either position, it's just a matter of how much his ball skills improve his senior year.

His offer list currently includes Ole Miss, Florida State, and Georgia among others.
