OXFORD -- Ole Miss interim head coach Matt Luke met with the media Wednesday, his final public comments before the Rebels' season opener Saturday against South Alabama.

Luke updated the Rebels' injury report, revealing defensive end Qaadir Sheppard (ankle) is out for Saturday's game and saying offensive guard Jordan Sims (ankle) will be a game-time decision.

Luke also addressed his emotions as Saturday's opener nears.
